By accessing, browsing, registering, or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and other policies published on the Platform. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please discontinue use of the Platform immediately.
1. Purpose of the Platform
HouseWire is designed to simplify property discovery and real estate advertising by providing a digital platform where users can access property-related information and communicate with property advertisers.
Unless specifically stated otherwise, HouseWire is not a real estate broker, property dealer, financial institution, legal advisor, valuation expert, or construction consultant. We do not own, develop, construct, or sell the properties listed on the Platform. Listings are generally published by property owners, builders, brokers, developers, or other authorized advertisers.
HouseWire acts solely as a technology platform that facilitates the sharing of property information between users. Any decision to buy, sell, rent, lease, invest in, or otherwise transact in relation to a property is made independently by the parties involved.
2. Acceptance of These Terms
Your use of HouseWire constitutes your acceptance of these Terms.

Tenant means a person seeking to rent or lease property.
Content includes text, photographs, graphics, videos, logos, trademarks, designs, floor plans, documents, reviews, ratings, comments, and all other material available on the Platform.
4. Eligibility
To use HouseWire, you must:
Be at least 18 years of age or the age of majority under applicable law.
Have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements.
Provide accurate registration information.
Use the Platform only for lawful purposes.
If you register on behalf of a company, partnership, developer, brokerage, or other organization, you confirm that you are authorized to act on behalf of that entity.
HouseWire reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that fail to meet these eligibility requirements.
5. User Registration and Accounts
Certain features require account registration.
When creating an account, you agree to:

HouseWire may review listings before or after publication. Listings that appear misleading, duplicated, fraudulent, incomplete, or inconsistent with these Terms may be edited, restricted, temporarily hidden, or removed without prior notice.
7. Responsibilities of Advertisers
If you publish a property listing, you represent and warrant that:
You own the property or are duly authorized to advertise it.
The information provided is accurate and not misleading.
Images and videos are genuine and lawfully used.
You have obtained all necessary permissions to publish the content.
The listing does not infringe any third-party rights.
You will promptly update the listing if material information changes.
Advertisers must not intentionally omit information that could materially affect a buyer's or tenant's decision.
Repeated publication of false, deceptive, or unauthorized listings may result in account suspension, listing removal, or permanent restriction from using the Platform.
8. Responsibilities of Buyers and Tenants
Users exploring properties through HouseWire should exercise independent judgment before making any financial or legal commitment.
Before entering into a transaction, buyers and tenants are encouraged to:
Visit the property where practical.
Verify ownership documents.
Confirm the identity of the advertiser.
Review approvals and permissions required under applicable law.
Understand applicable taxes, maintenance charges, brokerage, registration fees, and other costs.
Seek advice from qualified legal, financial, or technical professionals where appropriate.
HouseWire provides information to facilitate property discovery but does not guarantee the suitability, legality, quality, or investment potential of any property.
9. Accuracy of Information
We strive to maintain a useful and reliable platform. However, property information may change due to updates made by advertisers, market conditions, regulatory developments, or other circumstances.
Accordingly:
Prices may change without notice.
Availability may change after publication.
Images may be representative.
Measurements may be approximate.
Project timelines may be revised by developers.
Amenities and specifications may vary.
Users should independently verify all information before relying upon it for any transaction or investment decision.
10. Verification of Listings
HouseWire may implement verification procedures for users, advertisers, listings, or documents. A verified badge or status indicates only that certain checks have been completed according to our internal procedures at the time of verification.
Verification should not be interpreted as a guarantee of ownership, legal title, financial stability, construction quality, regulatory compliance, or future performance of a property or advertiser.
Users remain responsible for conducting their own due diligence before entering into any agreement or making any payment.
11. User Conduct
To maintain a safe and trustworthy marketplace, all users must interact respectfully and responsibly.
You agree that you will not:
Publish false or misleading information.
Impersonate another person or organization.
Upload unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or offensive content.
Use automated tools to scrape or harvest data without permission.
Attempt to interfere with the Platform's security or functionality.
Upload malicious software or harmful code.
Misuse contact information obtained through the Platform.
Engage in fraudulent, deceptive, or illegal activities.
HouseWire may investigate suspected misuse and take appropriate action, including restricting access, removing content, or reporting unlawful conduct to relevant authorities where required by law.
12. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise indicated, the Platform, including its design, layout, software, trademarks, logos, graphics, text, and proprietary technology, is owned by or licensed to HouseWire and is protected under applicable intellectual property laws.
Users may access the Platform solely for personal or legitimate business use in accordance with these Terms. No part of the Platform may be copied, reproduced, distributed, modified, or commercially exploited without prior written permission from HouseWire or the relevant rights holder.
The ownership of user-submitted property content remains with the respective owner or rights holder; however, by publishing such content on HouseWire, you grant us the rights necessary to host, display, index, and promote that content as described in these Terms.
Terms and Conditions (Part 2)
13. User-Generated Content
HouseWire allows registered users to publish and share content, including property descriptions, photographs, videos, floor plans, project information, reviews, ratings, comments, and other materials ("User Content"). By submitting User Content to the Platform, you confirm that you either own the content or have obtained all necessary rights, permissions, and licenses to publish it.
You remain the owner of your original content. However, by uploading or publishing User Content on HouseWire, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable, and sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, index, modify for technical purposes, and promote such content in connection with operating and improving the Platform. This license continues for as long as the content remains on the Platform and for a reasonable period thereafter where required for backups, legal compliance, or dispute resolution.
You agree that your User Content will not:
Violate any applicable law or regulation.
Infringe the intellectual property or privacy rights of any third party.
Contain false, misleading, defamatory, obscene, abusive, hateful, or discriminatory material.
Include malware, viruses, or harmful code.
Promote illegal activities or fraudulent schemes.
HouseWire reserves the right, but not the obligation, to review, edit, refuse, restrict, or remove User Content that we believe violates these Terms or may negatively affect the integrity or safety of the Platform.
14. Reviews and Ratings
The Platform may allow users to post reviews and ratings relating to properties, builders, brokers, developers, or services.
Reviews should reflect genuine personal experiences and must be fair, respectful, and based on accurate information. Users must not post fabricated reviews, impersonate others, manipulate ratings, or offer incentives in exchange for positive or negative feedback.
HouseWire may moderate reviews to remove spam, offensive language, personal attacks, irrelevant content, or material that appears misleading or unlawful. The opinions expressed in reviews belong solely to the respective users and do not necessarily reflect the views of HouseWire.
15. Paid Services and Advertising
Certain features of the Platform may be offered on a paid basis, including premium listings, featured placements, advertising packages, promotional campaigns, lead generation services, or subscription plans.
The pricing, duration, features, and eligibility criteria for paid services will be displayed on the Platform at the time of purchase. By purchasing a paid service, you agree to pay the applicable fees, taxes, and charges.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, payments made for digital advertising or promotional services are non-refundable after the service has commenced. Refund requests, where applicable, will be handled in accordance with the HouseWire Refund Policy.
HouseWire does not guarantee any minimum number of enquiries, leads, conversions, sales, rentals, website traffic, search rankings, or business outcomes arising from paid services.
16. Payments
Payments made through the Platform must be completed using the payment methods made available by HouseWire or its authorized payment partners.
You agree to provide accurate billing information and authorize the processing of payments for services requested by you.
HouseWire does not store complete debit card, credit card, UPI PIN, or internet banking credentials. Online payments are processed through trusted third-party payment gateways that maintain their own security and compliance standards.
In the event of a payment failure, duplicate transaction, or technical issue, users should contact our support team with relevant transaction details. We will work with the payment provider to investigate and resolve the matter where appropriate.
17. Intellectual Property Rights
All trademarks, service marks, logos, software, source code, design elements, layouts, graphics, databases, and proprietary technology associated with HouseWire are owned by or licensed to HouseWire and are protected under applicable intellectual property laws.

HouseWire provides an online platform for publishing and discovering property information. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, legality, quality, ownership, title, approvals, availability, investment potential, or suitability of any property listed on the Platform.
Any property transaction, negotiation, agreement, or payment is solely between the relevant parties. HouseWire is not a party to such transactions and does not provide legal, financial, tax, valuation, or engineering advice.
Users are strongly encouraged to conduct independent due diligence, inspect properties, verify ownership documents, confirm regulatory approvals, and seek professional advice before making any purchase, sale, lease, rental, or investment decision.
21. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, HouseWire, its directors, employees, affiliates, licensors, partners, and service providers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or relating to:
Use or inability to use the Platform.
Errors or omissions in property information.
Business interruptions or loss of data.
Fraudulent conduct by third parties.
Technical failures, viruses, or security breaches beyond our reasonable control.
Property transactions conducted between users.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
22. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless HouseWire, its affiliates, employees, officers, directors, partners, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, losses, damages, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of:

Your violation of applicable laws.

This obligation survives the termination of your use of the Platform.
23. Suspension and Termination

24. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
Subject to applicable law, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in the jurisdiction where HouseWire's principal place of business is situated, unless otherwise required by law.
Where feasible, both parties agree to attempt an amicable resolution of disputes before initiating formal legal proceedings.
25. Force Majeure
HouseWire shall not be responsible for any delay or failure to perform its obligations due to events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, floods, fires, earthquakes, pandemics, epidemics, cyberattacks, internet outages, power failures, labour disputes, governmental actions, or other unforeseen events.
During such circumstances, our obligations shall be suspended for the duration of the event to the extent reasonably necessary.
